1 1/2 cups of milk
    1 egg
    2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    2 cups self-raising flour
1/4 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda
    1/3 cup caster sugar
25g butter, melted - for frypan

    1. Mix milk, egg and vanilla together in a bowl or jug.
    2. Sift flour and bicarbonate of soda into a bowl, stir in sugar.
    3. Make a well in the centre, then add milk mixture and mix until just combined.
    4. Heat a large non-stick frypan over medium heat, and place some butter in it (optional)
    5. Place about 1/4 of a cup or as much as you want into fry pan and cook until bubbles start to appear and then flip
    6. Repeat Last step until you have used all of your batter

Finish by adding some maple syrup, blueberries, banana or anything else you like to put on pancakes!
